In this short film, director / writer Riley Sugars tells the quasi-true story of a father and son at a crossroad with the pressures of life pulling them in very different directions. In classic form, Sugars brilliantly weaves this complex tale together, paying close attention to the subtle, yet relatable truth inherent in all father/son relationships as family go their separate ways.
A powerful drama. Two brothers and a dark relation.
(I shouldn't say 'merely'. It makes it look like I'm downgrading this work, I'm not.
